Sheets designed for better sleep

Lyocell is moisture wicking and cooler to the touch, so you maintain a more consistent temperature and the bedding stays crisp all night.

Because it’s hypoallergenic and naturally inhospitable to bacteria, it helps you breathe easier all night.

Signature Details

Metallic buttons, subtle satin branding, signature bags, and elegant embroidery elevate our entire sheet collection.

Woven exclusively for O+L

Developed with textile experts, a high-performance textile designed from the ground up for next-generation comfort.

Not all fabrics are made equal

After searching high and low for the perfect sheet fabric, we gave up and developed it ourselves.

Woven by textile experts exclusively for O+L, our sheets are designed to be uniquely soft, cool and comfortable.

People ask us why it took 2 years to develop sheets. Because, like our customers, we’re perfectionists when it comes to sleep.

Better Threads

Next-generation luxury demanded rethinking the way we make fabric.

Thread counts are old news, and traditional cotton isn’t optimum for sleep or the planet.

We spent nearly two years rigorously testing, washing, and sleeping in a variety of traditional and cellulosic fabrics in order to make one that was truly special.

PERFECT THREAD DENSITY

Designed for softness, breathability and comfort.

Comparable in feel to 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton, O+L’s eucalyptus fabric is a 300 thread count, meaning it’s cooler and breathes better than the best cotton.

We weave it in a sateen weave, but with lyocell, this is creates fabric that has sheen but remains crisp to the touch.

THE MOST ADVANCED LYOCELL FIBERS

Long-staple TencelTM lyocell fibres are more expensive, but there’s good reason to pay more.

The lyocell we use in Owl + Lark sheets is a specially formulated so it does not easily pill and has much greater durability than normal lyocell.

Not only that, the fabric gets softer with each wash.

 A FITTED SHEET THAT FITS

1. At 40cm deep, enough for an O+L Mattress, or any other mattress and a topper and mattress protector.

2. Thick non-slip elastic all the way around.

3. Deliberately tightly fit for that crisp feeling when you get into bed.

Eucalyptus Lyocell:
Ethical and Sustainable Performance

1/20th the water of cotton

Far less water and energy is wasted in the production of lyocell fibres compared with other natural fibres like cotton.

100% Organic and using 5% of the energy of cotton equivalents.

Regenerative LenzingTM supply chain

All of the fibres used in our sheets are produced by Lenzing AG, the world leader in sustainable cellulosic textiles.

Made from trees grown in carbon-neutral regenerative forests in Europe.

Using TENCELTM lyocell means we can be confident that the entire supply chain, from tree to sheet, is sustainably managed.

The circular future of sheets

Once lyocell sheets come to the end of their lives, they can be broken down and recycled into brand new fibre, unlike cotton or polyester.

The specific qualities of lyocell derived from eucalyptus fibres make it very well-suited for sheets and much better for the skin. We think it's the future of sheets.
